I thought by now the sensitivity would be fixed and realize that I don’t think my son will be able to use these. Even I have a hard time sometimes getting the pods to respond. When will they be updated? I just received mine and do not want to return them. I love the concept for eye/hand coordination therapy.
Just received my pods, also concerned that the force required is very high. I tried to encorporate the pods into a soccer rebounder and they repond only to DIRECT hit by the ball…. which is problematic. Sensing vibration or gentle tap (generated from the hit on any surface of the rebounder) is what would be desired.
I’ve just emailed them and sent videos, hopefully I’ll get a clear answer and will update you guys here. My pods are unusable for patients.
Given the high concentration of recent posts, I wonder if it’s a manufacturing fault in newer pods?
Watching videos on their YouTube and Instagram people are just tapping them. WTF! My hands are red raw from trying to get a positive ‘hit’.
When will you do the sensitivity update? I need to know, or else I will return my recent purchase (kit) as the sensitivity of the pods is not equal and they are useless like that

I’m in agreement with the other posts. The pods are not accurate enough for my clients to respond to without multiple hard hits so reliability is actually worse with more missed hits. Please advise of a pending update soon or else we’ll have to send ours back as their utility is limited the way they are.
Thanks
Hello,
Has there been any update on this?
I’m using the pods for physiotherapy treatment and the sensitivity issue has made them practically useless for elderly and stroke clients.
The force required is very high, I can’t even complete a 30 sec circuit myself without a false negative and I’m an active 30 year old physiotherapist!
I was so excited to use them but they’re virtually useless in the clinic :(
Any updates on this? My order just arrived and I’m quite frustrated with the lack of sensitivity of the pods. I’ve tried putting them on cones and windows and still the same result. I have to hit the pods as if I’m smacking someone across the face just to get any response from them.
it would be awesome if you just added a feature for an increase in sensitivity dont know how hard it is. but i will say i think its more frustrating to get false negatives during a work out then false postives. the false negatives cause you to break flow and get out of the zone
The sensitivity of the Pods may vary between surfaces, sports disciplines, and users themselves. The Pods were designed that way to decrease the number of false positives. In the following months, we expect to release an improved version of the Pod’s software which will increase sensitivity, while keeping the reliability of the current tap detection. This will be an over-the-air update, so there’ll be no need to switch your current Pods!
